Following my results in Canada, I was very excited to be nominated as a finalist and win this award. As apart of this nomination I got to have a photoshoot with one of the newspaper photographers and also attend the gala dinner at the St George's League Club. The award included prize money thats always helpful when you need to be buying new sails.
It was also nice to see three other youth sailors take out the same award for their area.
